Tiakumzuk Aier is a 34 years Ao Naga man, self taught in the field of Theatre and Filmmaking with only his love and passion for artistic expression as his guiding light. He has to his credit directed three feature films, Life Rewind (2012) The Wake-Up Call (2014) and NANA-a tale of us (2017). He has also directed several plays including Needles and Pins – a contemporary play about the political, economic and social status of Nagaland, Father’s Letter – a play about family, its values and responsibility as a father and a son, Edge of Life – a play on drug abuse, Beyond the Valley – an evolve play on women empowerment, sanitation (Swacch Bharat) and identity and Lichaba’s Daughter to name few. He has also written and directed various short videos for Dreamz Unlimited (a YouTube channel co-founded by Tiakumzuk) and also directed number of short plays for churches, Govt. Departments and various agencies.

He heads Dreamz Unlimited, a Theatre and Film Production house based in Dimapur, Nagaland, which has been working constantly form the upliftment of the art in the state and whose forte is comedy and satire. As most of his work reflects, Tiakumzuk is inspired and motivated by a need for effecting change through the arts.

Lichaba’s Daughter has been performed in North East Theatre Festival, Imphal 2010, IGNCA Festival in Guwahti, Gangtok, Sikkim and New Delhi in 2011 and in Hornbill Festival, Kohima in 2014.
