Rong Beronger Korhi is selected to screen at the 17th Third Eye Asian Film Festival in Mumbai in the Indian Vista section. The film is a unique movie, encompassing four unrelated stories about money. Each colour brings out a different side of money.
First story (Red – Love) – This is a story about a poor couple who think that they are incompatible and decide to get a divorce. However, the lawyer charges a large amount of money, rendering them near penniless once they are divorced. They soon realize that their decision was taken in haste, but lack of money creates problems towards their reunion. They decide not to give up on this situation.
Second story (Blue – Separation) – A woman finds out about the sudden and mysterious death of her husband, in an accident, from her lover. The husband leaves her a huge inheritance, which she decides to use in order to restart a new life with her current lover. However, things are not all they seem.
Third story (Glittery – Profit) – A man who is down on his luck, sacked from his job and left by his girlfriend, revels in his mediocrity, in a park bench. A person offers him the comfort of a prostitute. Unable to understand how the entire process works, he prefers to chat with the prostitute instead. The prostitute’s words shock him to no end!
Fourth story (White – Loss) – The tragedy of a boy named ‘Dhaaki’ (drummer), who goes to the city in order to make enough money to take care of his ailing mother. However, even after earning a substantial amount of money, he returns to find his mother in no state to receive care.
