If there’s something that we cannot take away from British-Pakistani singer Zayn Malik, then that has to be his originality.
His professional journey has been quite eventful and progressive, starting all over from the boyband ‘One Direction’ to him quitting the group to do something all by himself. The talented 25-year-old singer has never disappointed his fans and has always come up with something new every time.
Though Zayn is quite shy and reserved in person, he occasionally gives us a slight peek of his personal life on social media.
From what we observe, Zayn has been doing a lot of popular covers and has grabbed the attention of his fans.
The one track that completely thrilled all of us was Zayn giving a rendition to Kailash Kher’s soulful track, ‘Teri Deewani’.
With a devoted fan following, the singer posted a video of himself singing the iconic Kailash Kher’s popular track on Instagram. Zayn is seen adding his own twist to the song while strumming his guitar melodiously.
And then, just a few hours later, Zayn also shared his version of ‘Allah Ke Bande’.
Kailash Kher responded by saying that he would like to “jam together” while putting forward a condition.
His only condition was that he had a digital academy which is about to come up, and it will be completely dedicated to all of Kailasa’s super hit compositions. Kailash advised that Zayn could enroll himself in the academy to help him refine his skills.
Zayn had earlier confessed his love for Bollywood movies and songs, particularly his admiration for “The Badshah of Bollywood”, Shah Rukh Khan.
The English singer and songwriter had also confirmed singing for a Hindi track in an interview with a leading lifestyle magazine though he did not reveal the name of the song.
We definitely have a lot to look forward to with Zayn’s very first collaboration with A.R Rahman, especially after this.
